Case Studies

mats : case studies

MATS has been successfully piloted and rolled out across a number of lenders (2 in the UK ‘Top 5’). Today around 20% of UK mortgage applications will be processed seamlessly and effectively with MATS – and more lenders are coming on board during 2007.

We pride ourselves on being able to fully implement MATS, in a completely tailored way, in less than ten weeks – without bugs or glitches (see testimonials).

Nationwide Building Society Case Study

MATS has been fully tested and piloted with the Nationwide Building Society where it was established that MATS delivered significant performance in the areas of:

  • Call avoidance.
  • Cost reduction.
  • Improvements to workflow.
  • Better, more usable management data.
  • Improved customer service levels.

Nationwide Building Society has now rolled MATS out across their entire operation.

Accord Mortgages

Pilot launched on January 1st 2006 with full rollout on April 1st 2006 - all following a 5 week build programme at the end of 2005.

The instant measurable impact on call volumes was difficult to assess since Accord’s new business growth has been phenomenal during 2006 and year on year comparisons have become meaningless except for one;

During 2005 Accord averaged 50 service complaints per month from brokers and/or customers. Since MATS was introduced this figure has fallen to fewer than 5 per month on significantly increased volumes.

“We could not have handled those volumes without MATS”

As with Nationwide the scale of MATS driven statistics makes impressive reading;

  • 50,000+ cases managed in 2006
  • 200+ staff using MATS
  • Call reductions of almost 60% (in-bound and out-bound)
  • MATS deemed as ‘1st class’ from a Customer/Intermediary survey
  • Postal cost reduction - £2,000 seen in a 24 hr period with potential for £480,000 saving per year
  • 50 complaints per month reduced to 5 per month due to MATS
