Admiral Taverns - My Pub Food

Evolving has formed a relationship with Elliott People who specialise in consultancy services for the food and entertainment market.

It is estimated that the 2007 impending smoking ban will reduce pub revenues by 10%. Elliott People have seen this as an opportunity to work with Evolving to produce an online portal to help offset this negative economic impact.

The idea was to develop a portal for pubs to plan and develop their food service, to maximise this revenue stream. This will serve to act as both; a new service for non-food serving pubs and a resource to help grow the business of those pubs that already serve food.

The core objectives of the system were:

  • To allow licensees to access a complete service; to define their food capabilities and to choose a range of options to maximise potential revenue.
  • To asses licensees food selling capabilities.
  • To allow the licensees to pick from pre-defined or determine their own menu construction for kitchen based or bar top food solutions.
  • To provide access to a menu bank of products.
  • To provide spec sheets and photographs of each menu item, with a print option.
  • To allow licensees to choose menu designs, with the option to bespoke these designs, download as a pdf or order print.
  • To provide an indication of the cost of putting each dish together, suggesting retail pricing and bench marking.
  • To provide a margin calculator, to display £’s and %’s.
  • To allow licensees to order additional POS material online.

This will be a system that develops ongoing, with some great ideas already being discussed.
